FILE PUBLICATION

Processing
When a data set is received by the 2BA system in accordance with the file format requirements, processing has started.

In summary, the following steps are followed:

Definition and validation of the file format and type provision.
Various reviews and actions are carried out on the data (also with regard to data already present in the data pool).
Potentially interactive actions on the data provided are proposed to the data uploader in an e-mailed report.
The data are made available in the STAGING environment and reports are sent by e-mail for review purposes.
The data may be approved or rejected once the report has been reviewed. Once approved, the data are uploaded to the MASTER environment.
Following approval, your data will be available to consumers the day after uploading and will be visible on Unifeed.
NB. There can be only one processing per supplier at a time; multiple provisions will be automatically placed in a waiting queue.

Data publication/approval mode
The data publication mode consists of 3 steps:

Once the statistics have been reviewed, you place a tick to indicate that you agree with the data changes.
Once you have read the review tab sheet, you can also indicate your agreement.
If you agree with both parts, the [Approve data] button becomes active and the data can be uploaded.
NB. It is recommended to publish a data set on the same date on which it is provided. Published data will be available in the production environment and the Unifeed search engine the following date. Once the data have been published, they can no longer be rejected.

Statistics and reviews

The statistics tab sheet provides important information about the data that are already available via 2BA. By default, statistics that have been 100% completed are not shown - these must be separately linked, using the option of displaying 100% statistics.

The review tab sheet provides information per review or action. As a rule, detailed information may be viewed. These overviews are limited to the first 250 messages. The option parameters.xml can be used to indicate (among other things) that all detailed messages should be displayed in the report.

Type data provision/processing
A data set can be supplied as a mutation or complete. Depending on the type of provision, the data are added or existing data are supplemented or entirely (!) replaced.

Complete type
Existing data within the data pool are entirely replaced by the newly provided data. Article records that are not present in the provided data set are thus permanently removed from the data pool and transferred to the clean set! Any product records missing from the provided data set are noted as having the status code 'expired' (130) and remain available as a collection point for sales records and for the product history (such as ETIM characteristics, appendices, product references and links).

Mutation type
For a mutation provision, existing records are updated and new records may be added. Existing records in the data pool that are missing from the data set provided will remain available without change.

Exceptions:

If the product or article report of a complete processing is not provided, these records remain available without change.
ETIM characteristics are added or amended.

Interactive reviews (Level 9)
Interactive reviews are actions carried out during data processing. For an interactive review, the data uploader is asked which action is to be carried out. The data uploader is given the option of having the selection(s) made automatically carried out for subsequent provisions. These reviews can be activated via the interactive review overview during your data provisions.
